How many times can I call for help?
Each member is entitled to one (1) thirty-minute office or telephone consultation per separate legal matter per month free of charge, with a network attorney (no repeat matters permitted).

How can I be sure I will be introduced to an attorney who understands my situation?
When you call the toll free number for Family Legal a trained customer service representative will ask you a series of questions to determine which area of the law you are inquiring advice. You can be assured you will be directed to an attorney who specializes in the area of your need.

What if I’m not comfortable with the ‘assigned’ attorney?
Simply call the Family Legal customer service representative and explain your situation and the appropriate steps will be taken (up to and including being provided with a new attorney) to ensure that you feel comfortable with your attorney.

I’m not sure I need an attorney. What types of occurrences might I find myself in which would be better handled if I consulted with an attorney?
There are many situations in ones life where consulting with an attorney would provide a greater level of ease such as difficulties arising from custody and support matters; needing advice on a small claims matter; advice regarding the acquisition or sale of real estate and much more.

How much will I have to pay?
Every effort has been made by Family Legal to ensure that our network attorneys are not only the most competent, but also the most competitively priced in your community. Further, in the event you wish to retain a participating attorney after the initial consultation, you will be provided with a preferred rate reduction of 25% from the attorney’s normal hourly rate.

* Obtaining Your Card:  The USA PATRIOT Act is a federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account.  What this means for you: When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
