What type of MasterCard is this?
This card does not require you to open a savings account! This is an interest free Prepaid MasterCard Card where you load up to $2,500 on your card… if you need fifty dollars on the card, that's what you load! Now you to can purchase automobile rentals, reserve hotel rooms, make purchases on the telephone or Internet… and like millions of other Prepaid MasterCard Card cardholders, your card is accepted nearly everywhere! You'll never have to fumble writing a personal check at a checkout counter again (while everyone behind you is watching and waiting)!

Can I use my card at ATM's to get cash from my account?
You can use your Prepaid MasterCard Card at any ATM that displays the MasterCard®, Maestro® or Cirrus® brands.

Can I use my card at gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants?
You can use your Prepaid MasterCard Card at any location or store that accepts Debit MasterCard.

Is the Prepaid MasterCard Card a credit card?
No, the Prepaid MasterCard Card is not a credit card. It is similar to a debit card. You control the available balance on the card by depositing money into the card's account.

How do I use the card, do I select credit or debit?
At most locations it doesn’t really make a difference, they will accept both options. When you use Credit you will be required to sign off on the purchase and if you use Debit you will be required to enter your PIN number.

Can I use this Card to pay my bills?
Use of this Prepaid MasterCard Card is an excellent way to pay your bills timely and the best part is your card is accepted anywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted.

I tried to make a purchase with my card but was denied authorization, what happened?
First, you must make sure that you have activated your card and have deposited money on the Prepaid MasterCard Card. Also, please be aware that use of the Prepaid MasterCard Card at some merchants- for example, restaurants, mail-order companies, and cruise lines- requires the card have a minimum balance that exceeds the purchase amount to ensure sufficient tips or incidental expenses. Use of the card at automated fuel dispensers requires a minimum balance of up to $50 or more. However, only the actual amount spent will be deducted from the card. What is my credit limit on the Prepaid MasterCard Card?
There is no credit limit associated with this program. Instead, the amount you load determines your available balance! For example: if you want $20, $30, $40, or $50 on the card, then that is what you send. This card is designed to help you manage your money! It's that simple. There is no interest.

Do I have to make some sort of security deposit?
There's no security deposit, because this isn't a credit card. You load the funds that you want to spend! This card is welcomed anywhere MasterCard debit cards are accepted.

Who can get this card?
If you are a U.S. citizen with appropriate government-issued identification, are over the age of 18, and have an active checking account, you can apply for this card. No employment is necessary and there are no turn-downs!*

How can I check my balance and review my account activity?

What happens if I need to return an item?
Each merchant location has its own return policies and will handle the returns in the same manner as any other MasterCard transaction. They may credit your Prepaid MasterCard Card, provide a cash refund or a store credit.

Does the card have an expiration date?
Yes. It expires 12 months from the last day of the month your card was embossed/created. This date is located on the front of the card. For example: If your card was embossed/created on 8/27/02, then your card would expire on 8/31/03 which is the last day of August.

Will I automatically be issued a new card when the old card expires?
Yes, in our effort to prevent an interruption in your services, we will automatically issue you a new card provided your account is in good standing.

Do I need to keep a minimum balance on the card?
There is no minimum balance required on the card.

How can I add money to the Prepaid MasterCard Card?
There are simple instructions on how to load "Funds" on to your Prepaid MasterCard Card right here on this site. You can also call 1-877-344-4835 and receive instructions from our automated system or contact customer service.

Can I use the card to pay for a car rental or hotel room?
Absolutely! You can use your card anywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted. Please remember, if you use your card for reservations, please be aware that car rental agencies and hotels may hold up to 15 percent or more above your anticipated charges to ensure sufficient tips and incidental expenses are covered. Automated fuel dispensers will also hold up to $50 or more from your account. Please remember, only the actual amount spent will be deducted from the card and the remaining amount will be available for you to spend once the vendor has reconciled with the bank (usually within 72 hours).

* Obtaining Your Card:  The USA PATRIOT Act is a federal law that requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account.  What this means for you: When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.  “No Turn Downs” is contingent upon successfully completing this mandatory identification confirmation.
